Mobile phone as Bluetooth dongle
I used to sit next to Else (good name for a programmer, huh?) and he always came up with the best almost-pointless-but-not-quite hacks. He’s on fire in this video demonstrating a Linux app that locks the screen when it loses contact with a phone using Bluetooth. Sweet!
This is the kind of seamlessly-integrated security app that is gonna get Else mentioned on Bruce Schneier’s blog any day now. A venture capital raising will follow soon after, I’m sure.
